A special White Night Bendigo Bus Network will be operating during the night of the event with five (5) routes across the North, South, East and West, travelling to and from the Williamson Street Transport Hub. Buses will run from 6pm – 1.30am.
Each Bus Route will operate at a 15-minute frequency in a one-way loop circuit or point to point service. This is a Myki run service.

- White Night Route 2 Strathdale – Kennington La Trobe Uni Campus
- White Night Route 3 Epsom via Lake Weeroona and White Hills
- White Night Route 4 Eaglehawk via Bendigo Showgrounds
- White Night Route 5 Kangaroo Flat via Golden Square
Affected are routes 5, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 60, 61, 65
Buses throughout Bendigo will run their normal timetable until last service (8pm) however from 4pm road closures will be in the place and the below services will be affected. Further the latest information view the Public Transport Victoria website or smart app.
Route 5 Huntly – Kangaroo Flat via Bendigo Station
- From Huntly buses will travel detour via McCrae St, Chapel St, Myers St, Mitchell St, Railway Pl to train station.
- From train station buses will travel detour via Railway Pl, Arthur St, Wills St, Myrtle St, High St via normal route to Kangaroo Flat
Route 5 Kangaroo Flat – Huntly via Bendigo Station
- From Kangaroo Flat buses will travel via normal route High St then detour via Myrtle St, Wills St, Mitchell St, Railway Pl to train station.
- From train station buses will travel via Railway Pl, Mitchell St, Myers St, Chapel St, McCrae St then normal route to Huntly
Route 50 Epsom Station – Bendigo Station
- From Epsom buses will travel detour via Lucan St, Barnard St, Don St, Myers St, Wills St, Mitchell St, Railway Pl to train station.
- From train station buses will travel detour via Railway Pl, Arthur St, Wills St, Myrtle St, Don St, Barnard St to Epsom via normal route.
Route 51 Bendigo Station – Eaglehawk via Jackass Flat
- From Eaglehawk buses will travel detour via Chapel St, Myers St, Mitchell St, Railway Pl to train station.
- From train station buses will travel detour via Railway Pl, Mitchell St, Myers St, Chapel St, Bridge St, to Epsom via normal route.
Route 52 Bendigo Station – Eaglehawk via Arnold St
- From Eaglehawk buses will travel detour via Barnard St, Don St, Myrtle St, Wills St, Mitchell St, Railway Pl to train Station
- From train station buses will travel detour via Railway Pl, Arthur St, Wills St, Myrtle St, Don St, Barnard St, to Eaglehawk via normal route.
Route 53 Bendigo Station – Eaglehawk via Eaglehawk Road
- From Eaglehawk buses will travel detour via Eaglehawk Rd, Don St, Myrtle St, Will St, Mitchell St, Railway Pl to train station.
- From train station buses will travel detour via Railway Pl, Arthur St, Wills St, Myrtle St, Don St, Eaglehawk Rd to Eaglehawk via normal route.
Route 54 Bendigo Station – Maiden Gully via Calder Highway
- From Maiden Gully buses will travel detour via Barnard St, Don St, Myrtle St, Wills St, Mitchell St, Railway Pl to train station.
- From train station buses will travel detour via Railway Pl, Arthur St, Wills St, Myrtle St, Don St, Barnard St, View St to Maiden Gully via normal route.
Route 55 Bendigo Station – Kangaroo Flat via Golden Square
- From Kangaroo Flat buses will detour via Barnard St, Don St, Myrtle St, Wills St, Mitchell St, Railway Pl to Bendigo Train Station.
- From Bendigo Train Station buses will detour via Railway Pl, Arthur St, Wills St, Myrtle St, Don St, Barnard St to Kangaroo Flat via normal route.
Route 60 Bendigo Station – East Bendigo via Strickland Rd
- From East Bendigo buses will detour via McIvor Rd, Myers St, Mitchell St, Railway Pl to train station.
- From Bendigo Train Station buses will detour via Railway Pl, Mitchell St, Myers St, McIvor Rd to East Bendigo via normal route.
Route 61 Bendigo Station – La Trobe University via Strathdale
- From Strathdale buses will detour via McIvor Rd, Myers St, Mitchell St, Railway Pl to train station.
- From Bendigo Train Station buses will detour via Railway Pl, Mitchell St, Myers St, McIvor Rd to Strathdale via normal route.
Route 65 Bendigo Station – Spring Gully via Carpenter St
- From Spring Gully buses will travel via normal route to Bendigo Train Station.
- From Bendigo Train Station buses will travel via normal route Spring Gully.
There will be four Park & Ride services available for White Night attendees. Services will run from 6pm—1.30am. Buses will run every 10 – 15 minutes.
Park & Ride is a free service, offering visitors and locals the opportunity to park at any of these locations and take a bus service which will drop off at the Williamson Street Bus Hub
The Williamson Street Bus Hub is located one block away from Pall Mall and a short 500m walk from Rosalind Park
Bendigo Racecourse
Passengers can enter the car park via Heinz Road and the far-left gate. The Pick-up & Drop off location will be located outside the Main Gate and Ticket Booths. Vehicles are to exit via the centre lane gate.
Lansell Square Shopping Centre
Passengers are encouraged to access Lansell Square car park via High St. The Pick-up & Drop Off location will be located at the existing bus stop zone (Lansell Plaza SC/High St).
Red Energy Arena (Bendigo Stadium)
Passengers are encouraged to access Red Energy Arena (Bendigo Stadium) car park via Inglis Rd, Gate Number 2.The pick up/drop off location will be located to the right of the main entrance, outside the netball courts.The Bistro and Bar is open for bookings from 5pm. Dine-in or takeaway pizzas available from 8.30pm to 10pm.
La Trobe University, Bendigo Campus
Passengers can access LaTrobe University car park via Edwards Rd, Gate Number 4. The Pick-up & Drop Off location will be located on the Western side of the Car Park
Train Services
Regular train services will operate between Melbourne and Bendigo until 11.55pm.
Regular train services will operate between Bendigo and Melbourne until 9.40pm.
Coach Services
Regular coach service will depart Bendigo to Southern Cross at 10.20pm.
V/Line will provide two additional coach services per hour from Bendigo to Melbourne departing Bendigo Station at 11pm, 12am (midnight), 1am and 2am.
A dedicated Taxi Rank will operate during the event from the McRae Street Car Park.
Parking is limited around the event precinct and attendees are encouraged to make the most of public transport to and from the event.
Accessible Drop off and pick up can be facilitated at the Taxi Rank on request at McRae Street.
Limited off-street parking will be available for accessible parking at the Hargreaves Street Municipal Car Park, 393 Hargreaves Street, Bendigo
Parking is available on a first-come basis and cannot be reserved.
Parking is limited and attendees are encouraged to make the most of public transport to and from the event or plan to use one of the four Park & Ride services available for White Night attendees.
Limited on-street and off-street parking is available in the streets surrounding the event.
All activations will be accessible all evening from 7pm until 1am allowing great flexibility to manage your White Night experience.
Trams to the White Night precinct depart:
Gold Mine – every 15 minutes from 6pm to 1.45am
Joss House – every 20 minutes from 6pm to 1.50am
Tyson’s Reef – every 20 minutes from 6.04pm to 1.54am
Lake Weeroona – every 20 minutes from 6.06pm to 1.56am
Trams from the White Night precinct depart:
Forest Street to Gold Mine – every 15 minutes from 6.10pm to 2am
Mundy Street to Lake Weeroona, Tyson’s Reef and Joss House – every 15 minutes from 6.15pm to 2am
Bendigo Tramways operate high floor trams with steps, so they are unsuitable for mobility aids including wheelchairs, scooters, and motorised vehicles.
Please note, this is not a Myki service. Return fare is $5 per person.
