Public Transport & Parking

Public transport is the recommended way to access White Night Bendigo. But if you plan to drive, be aware that there will be road closures in place, and car parking will be limited – drivers are encouraged to take advantage of the Park & Ride services on offer.

Trains will run to a normal timetable with the last train departing Bendigo at 9:27pm and Melbourne at 11:55pm.

A normal timetabled coach service also departs from Bendigo to Southern Cross Station at 10.20pm.


To Melbourne – Additional coaches will run from Bendigo to Melbourne stopping at major centres from 11pm to 3am on an hourly frequency.

To Regional Towns – Coaches will run to and from Seymour (via Heathcote), Maryborough (direct) and Echuca (via Rochester & Elmore). Coaches will depart each town at 5pm, 7pm & 9pm and leave Bendigo at 10pm, midnight & 2am.

All V/Line coaches will arrive and depart from Bendigo Station.


Buses in Bendigo will run to their normal timetable until 8pm. From 6pm we’re running five White Night bus routes every half hour until 3am. All routes run to the bus hubs at Williamson St. No White Night buses will pick up or drop off from Bendigo Station. You will need to touch on your Myki on White Night bus services.

Trams will be operating from the Central Deborah Gold Mine on Violet Street, the Bendigo Joss House on Finn Street, the Tyson’s Reef on Weeroona Avenue and Lake Weeroona on Nolan Street to the White Night precinct from 6pm until 3am.


There will be three Park & Rides in Bendigo. You can park your car and catch an express bus to the Williamson St bus hub from:

– Bendigo Racecourse

– Lansell Square – Kangaroo Flats

– La Trobe University, Flora Hill

Park & Ride buses run express to and from the White Night precinct and will run every 10-15 minutes depending on demand. Park & Ride is a free service.

White Night Bendigo attendees requiring accessibility information and assistance can visit the PTV website to learn more about Accessible transport.


There will be two temporary taxi ranks operating during the event: one on Queen Street between Mitchell Street and Williamson Street, and another in the car park between Park Lane and McCrae Street.


Road closures will be in place to ensure safe and easy pedestrian movement. Parking may be affected. View the map for details.


Accessible parking will be available at the carpark on the corner of Hargreaves and Edward Streets.
