Bloom is an immersive installation of large, inflatable gumnuts, inspired by Western Australia’s Corymbia ficifolia (Fairy Floss flowering gums).
Crawl inside a gumnut or nestle into the flower spikes, and listen to a meditative soundscape of native bush sounds emanating from purpose-built wooden “stem” boxes.
Bloom is a relaxing, tactile and playful landscape for all ages that can be enjoyed during the day or at night. It’s ecologically friendly and designed to run off-grid.
